Safe alternative for infrastructure releveling within the petroleum industry
GreenTechnologies® offers solutions for the re-leveling of tanks, structures and pipelines on land or offshore used in the petroleum industry, both crude oil, refined oil, and water. It does so by stabilizing soil or releveling the slabs where they sit.
GreenTechnologies®‘ procedures are monitored to the millimeter in real time during the work; this helps to eliminate operational risks as required in the oil industry.
It also offers the production of digital models of plants, refineries, and storage centers.
For oil and gas wells, pipelines, polyducts and tanks that will be taken out of operation, it offers an advanced procedure for filling them with inert materials, which do not leave gaps or residues of explosive substances. Thus, instead of extracting them, they can be left buried.

When inclined tanks are releveled, it is done with full control using a laser that emits and receives millions of three-dimensional scan points per second.

The digital models we produce measure horizontal and vertical deformations in three-dimensional format that allow the design of geopolymeric solutions to eliminate the causes of the problem and can relevel structures with millimeter precision without suspending operation and with redundancy in safety.

If required, GreenTechnologies® has robots to extract the solids that have accumulated.
We have the equipment to extract sediments from tanks and ships without personal risk. The cutting product is transported up to one kilometer by the robots’ pneumatic means.
Preferably extract what is possible by pumping. Whatever is left will be expelled by the expansion of the polymer (which becomes ultra-light polymer foam) that is injected. There should always be a vent at the outlet and through this the material that was left in the pipe can be collected. Available lengths and valves should be identified to calculate the density of the material to be injected. Pipes can be injected to fill the pipelines to be abandoned in volumes of 20 to 120 cubic meters per hour, with up to two foaming equipment units.

Preferably yes, as the waste can gasify with the increase in temperature outside the site where it was buried. And doing it with sand or mortar adds unmanageable weight.
The weight of FillFOAM is between 20 and 60 kilograms per cubic meter when dried. When applied, it always have a weight of less than 200 kilograms per cubic meter.
It should never be done manually. To avoid very common accidents when personnel enter a tank, it is preferable to do so with remote-controlled robots. GreenTechnologies® has them available.

Yes, the gaps between the tank and the ground where it is buried are commonly filled.
And it is also now common to prepare the soil where the new tanks will be buried. For that purpose, GreenTechnologies®’ polymers are more than adequate.
