With excellent results in various climates, from very cold to desert, hydroFLAKES® has the ability to retain up to 60% water and always maintains at least 38% air, which favors excellent aeration of the root system of grasses and healthy root growth, prevents soil compaction and excessive loss of irrigation water.
The substrate can be added during the construction of the fields or later. In football stadiums, it has been pointed out as a huge facilitator of rooting. Its benefits in experimental fields have been quantified.

Mixing hydroFOAM® into the soil at a depth of 30 centimeters encourages deeper root development by generating a longer and higher root density, increasing the moisture absorption of the root. The air stored within the hydroFOAM® structure prevents the soil from being completely compacted, further improving the regeneration of turf growth, especially in areas of intensive use.
